The center of the room has a stack stone wood-burning fireplace and three more gas fireplaces inside, and one more of each outside for a total of six. Four bedrooms have their own private bathrooms with beautiful tile walk-in showers. The home has 24kw Generac backup generator.

Enjoy sitting or eating on the spacious, top-quality back deck overlooking one of most incredible views of Douglas lake. Enjoy cooking in the large, spacious kitchen while looking right at the lake and mountains as you work. Note: This lake home is right on the main channel so it has water and a spectacular water view all year-round. The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) drains the lake down in the fall and winter (Sept to early April) such that sections of the lake that are in coves are so drained down that most coves on the lake are dry (no water) late November to January. TVA fills the lake back up in early April. It is usually completely filled back up by the end of April.

Note: The guest who books the cabin is required to sign a renter's agreement (e.g., says the guest will not sue us and will follow house rules) through an external link, which will get sent to you automatically after booking. The guest who books the cabin is required to pre-approve a $500 damage protection deposit that is 100% fully refunded 3 days after check-out if no damages are incurred and if the guest keeps house rules to not disturb the neighbors. The security deposit is not charged to your card until after your stay, and it is only charged if there is damage or if a house rule was broken.

Cancellation Policy: Ninety-seven percent (97.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 120 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 90 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 90 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
